I recently saw the episode of Good Eats where Alton Brown tackles his own homemade protein/energy bar (Power Trip, first aired in 2005). Serpico and I, both watching at our respective houses, texted each other immediately: “WE HAVE TO MAKE THESE!” (meaning the protein bars, we’re dorks). Anyways, I anticipated not being able to find most of the ingredients in the regular grocery store so I hit Trader Joe’s first last night, getting some things (the most important thing, soy protein powder, and then Whole Foods today for the rest. Would you please share the measurements and proceedure for making the bars, oven temp, etc. They look delicious!

I believe she said she is using Alton Brown’s Recipe from Food Network…
